Del Sol LM Edition wins Special Stage Route 11 endurance!!

Car: CRX Del Sol LM Edition (red)

Prize: S14 Silvia LM Edition (green)

A red Del Sol LM Edition has won the All-Night Endurance Race #1 in a truly memorable race, lapping everyone at least once. Ironically, a red NSX-R GT1 Turbo was also in the race. This Del Sol LM pushed so hard that it easily won. Nothing could catch it. Not even a tuned GTO Twin Turbo. I was very surprised that the Impreza Rally Edition came last, even though it does have a top speed of about 260 kmh. Even more surprising was that the lowly Nissan Primera finished ahead of it! Shame the underdog Primera (both 2.0Te models and the Gran Turismo 2-only 2.0Te-V) got bashed in GT2. But if you don’t have the Del Sol LM, you should get it. Especially in red. Sure, some people hated it, but you have to MASTER it. It’s an awesome car, even if handling is a little poor, but you have to learn to MASTER it. Shame it has a myth status, but a way to get it is finish second in two of the races in UK vs Japan.

Result:

1: CR-X del Sol LM Edition (red)

2: Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo (green race mod)

3: Honda NSX-R GT1 Turbo (red)

4: Castrol Supra GT (white/green)

5: Nissan Primera 2.0Te ‘90 (black race mod)

6: Subaru Impreza Rally Edition (blue)

I won 15,000,000 credits, and I intentionally reset until I won the ectoplasm green S14 Silvia LM Edition (I’d never seen it before, plus I’d seen the red one loads of times).

I wish I could get the Del Sol LM in Gran Turismo 2, but IB-4 is a pain in the rear. A rubbish car (Honda NSX Type S Zero) on a rubbish piece of a dirty licence track doesn’t help.
